Azerbaijan increases export of bran by 6 times

During the first six months of 2022, Azerbaijan exported 23,214 tons (+ 6 times) of bran (obtained from the processing of corn, wheat, and other cereals) worth $4.141 million (+8 times), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
In the reporting period, 16,607 tons (no supplies last year) worth $2.979 million were sold to Iraq, 6,222 tons (+80%) worth $1,043 million (+2.4 times) from Georgia, and 384.11 tons (-11.1%) worth $119,180 (+34%) to Turkiye.
53.1% of the 23,265 tons of bran exported by Azerbaijan last year (to Iraq, Georgia, and Turkiye) were sold to Iraq.
