Azerbaijan, Hungary planning to increase trade turnover of agricultural products

The Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, Majnun Mammadov, met with the Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan, Tamas Torma, Report informs.

The meeting discussed increasing the trade turnover of agricultural and food products.

According to the information, Mammadov gave detailed information about the state support for the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan. It was stated that the cooperation between the two countries in all fields is developing dynamically. The parties emphasized that they are interested in expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector.

At the meeting, issues of cooperation and strengthening of the legal-contract base between Azerbaijan and Hungary in the agrarian field, the transfer of the most modern technologies in the field of agriculture, and the implementation of experimental programs in the fields of scientific research and education in the agrarian sector were discussed.
