Azerbaijan cuts rice imports by more than 7%

In January-May of this year, Azerbaijan imported 24,722 tons of rice worth $20,342,000.
Report informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, that this is 2,000 tons (7.4%) less than in the corresponding period of last year in volume and $619,000 (3.1%) more in value.
During the reporting period, the cost of imported rice made up 0.4% of the total import costs of Azerbaijan.
