Alcohol production in Azerbaijan grows 17%

From January to November last year, 40.114 million decaliters of alcoholic beverages were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 16.8% more than in the same period in 2021, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, the production of vodka in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.087 million decaliters (18.1% less than a year ago), whiskey and cognac – 84,000 decaliters (2.8 times more), wine production amounted to 767,100 decaliters (27.5% more), beer production stood at 4.376 million decaliters (4.4% less). The production of soft drinks amounted to 33.799 million decaliters (9.6% more).

Last year, on December 1, the stocks of alcoholic products in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.442 million decaliters, and the stocks of soft drinks stood at 358,800 decaliters, which is less than on an annualized basis by 9% and 10.5% respectively.
