Agricultural sector grows by 2.2% in Azerbaijan

In January 2025, Azerbaijan produced agricultural products worth 547.8 million manats ($322.2 million), 2.2% more compared to the same period in 2024, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The value of crop products increased by 20.8% to reach 29.1 million manats ($17.1 million). The value of livestock products increased by 1.3% to 518.7 million manats ($305.1 million).

In January 2025, the agricultural sector produced 47.3 thousand tons of meat in live weight, 159.7 thousand tons of milk, 193.7 million eggs, and 25.5 thousand tons of vegetables. Compared to January of the previous year, meat production increased by 2%, egg production by 2.9%, vegetable production by 24.3%, while milk production decreased by 0.6%.
