Agricultural production in Azerbaijan grows over 3%

In January 2023, agricultural products worth 456.2 million manats ($268.352 million) were manufactured in Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
This is 3.3% more than in the same period last year.
The value of crop production this month amounted to 23.1 million manats ($13.588 million), which is 2% more than in the same period in 2022. The cost of livestock products increased by 3.4% and amounted to 433.1 million manats ($254.764 million).
In January 2023, 45,600 tons of meat in live weight, 160,00 tons of milk, 182.1 million eggs and 20,500 tons of vegetables were produced. Compared to January 2022, meat production increased by 2.8%, milk - by 1%, eggs - by 16%, vegetables - by 1.5%.
