Some 1,500 people to be employed in Yevlax pilot agricultural park

A total of AZN103 million has been invested in the Yevlax pilot agricultural park, of which AZN74 million are private and AZN29 million are public investments, Report informs, quoting Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.

According to him, 100 farms will be created on 1,147 out of 2,855 hectares, fodder crops, and sugar beets will be planted on 1,133 hectares, and communication lines will be laid on 210 hectares and protective zones will be created. In the agricultural park, 500 people will be provided with permanent jobs, and 1,000 people with seasonal jobs.
