Erdogan thanks people of Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his gratitude to the people of Azerbaijan and to the head of state, Ilham Aliyev, according to Report.

"During the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Khankandi, the glorious flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus flew alongside the flags of other countries. Once again, I thank the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan for supporting our struggle in Cyprus," Erdogan said during the official ceremony dedicated to the "Day of Peace and Freedom" on July 20.
