WTTC announces world's best performing tourism cities

Baku. 30 October. REPORT.AZ / Shanghai ranked first in the World Travel and Tourism ranking on world’s most important tourism cities, generating 35 billion dollars to GDP. 

Report informs that World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has published its annual Cities Report in terms of the largest contribution of tourism to GDP.

Beijing ranked second with 32.5 billion dollars, while Paris is in the third place with a contribution of 28 billion dollars.

Orlando and New York closed the five in the list. Tokyo, Bangkok, Mexico city, Las Vegas and Shenzhen are also included in the ten.
