Tourism Ministry rep: Baku and Mexican Queretaro have great potential for tourism development

Baku and Mexican Queretaro have great potential for tourism development, Alejandra Iturbe Rosas, representative of the Ministry of Tourism of the state of Queretaro (Mexico), said at a press conference.

"During my trip to Baku, I noticed a lot of similarities between us. There are a lot of guests both here and in the city of Queretaro. There is great potential for the development of tourism. It is interesting that in the center of both cities there are objects that are included in the UNESCO heritage list. We hope to return the same hospitality to you, and that guests from Azerbaijan will be able to enjoy the beauty of our homeland," said Alejandra Iturbe Rosas.

Representatives of government agencies of the Mexican state of Queretaro arrived in Baku to participate in the forum "Urban Planning Week 2023", held in cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-HABITAT) and the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan.
