Number of Azerbaijani tourists visiting Uzbekistan nears 10,000

As many as 9,600 Azerbaijani citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes from January through July 2024, Report informs, citing Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

Compared to the corresponding period of 2023, this is an increase of 19.8% or 1,600 people.

During this period, 5,657 Azerbaijani citizens visited Uzbekistan for recreation, 3,362 to visit relatives, 9 for medical treatment, 3 for education, and 543 for business purposes.
