Ambassador: Azerbaijan is turning into an attractive destination for Russian tourists

Baku. 24 December. REPORT.AZ / The year 2018 is marked by a 20% growth in tourism flow from Russia to Azerbaijan, Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov said.

Report informs that the ambassador said Azerbaijan is already turning into an attractive tourist destination for the Russian citizens. "Russian tourists visit Azerbaijan both in summer and in winter," Bocharnikov said.

According to the ambassador, he has recently visited the ski resort in Azerbaijan's Shahdag.

"We establish active cooperation between Azerbaijani and South Caucasian ski resorts," the Russian diplomat added.
