Members of the Azerbaijani team in Greco-Roman wrestling that settled in the first place among teams in junior world championships in Ufa have returned home.
Report informs that at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport of Baku, the wrestlers were welcomed by officials of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, representatives of the sports community, athletes' parents, and media representatives.
The team has four medals, including one gold, one silver, and two bronze awards. The head coach of the team of nine wrestlers in Nuraddin Rajabov and coaches are Emin Ahmadov and Zohrab Abbasov.
Hasret Jafadov (67) claimed gold and became the world champion. Sarhan Mammadov (130 kg) grabbed silver, while Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Nihat Mammadli (60 kg) won bronze.
