Azerbaijan's men's national basketball team claimed a 76-74 away victory over Luxembourg in the EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualifiers, Report informs.
The match was part of the fifth round of the preliminary qualifying stage, with Tahir Bakhshiyev's side securing a crucial win on the road.
Following the result, Azerbaijan moved to seven points and remains third in Group A. North Macedonia leads the standings with 10 points, while Luxembourg is second with seven points and Ireland sits fourth with six.
