Publication of 26 religious books banned in Azerbaijan last year

Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ "Last year, the State Committee for Work with Religious Structures examined 1,704 copies of religious literature and prevented the import and dissemination of 52 books that promote religious intolerance, discrimination and radicalism," Chairman of the State Committee Mubariz Gurbanli said.

According to him, 192 copies of religious literature submitted for publishing in the country were examined, while 26 of them were considered inexpedient for publication .
