Appeal from Baku Armenians to Catholicos Karekin II, Armenians of world, Armenians in Karabakh

Baku Armenians have made an Appeal to Karekin II, Catholicos of all Armenians, Armenians of the world, Armenians living in Karabakh. The appeal was signed by a group of tens of thousands of Armenians. Report informs, appeal reads:

Tens of thousands of Armenians live in Azerbaijan today. All people, regardless of religion or race, are treated equally in this country. Everyone in this country guaranteed equal rights according to the Constitution of Azerbaijan.
However, for more than 30 years, Armenia has occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands. During these years, constantly peaceful Azerbaijan citizens, including children and the elderly, have been shelled continuously and killed by Armenia.

We appeal to the Catholicos of all Armenians in the world.

To use its authority and power to end Armenia's occupation against Azerbaijan, return the occupied Azerbaijani lands to their owners. Support the prevention of unjust bloodshed. All religions in the world serve to the peaceful coexistence of people. Our religious leaders should work on this, assist in eliminating the negative image formed about us all over the world.

We appeal to Armenians of the world, individual Armenian lobbies.

Focus your support on keeping people to live in peace. No war has benefited humanity since the creation of the world. As a result of the Azerbaijani territories' occupation by Armenia, more than 1 million Azerbaijanis have been forced to leave their homes. And today, Armenia continues this occupation policy. All this creates a negative, hostile, bloodthirsty opinion about the Armenian people in the world. The genocide of Khojaly committed by Armenia against the Azerbaijani people is a black spot in Armenian history and very shameful for us.
Armenia does not want to peacefully coexist with neighboring Azerbaijan, occupying Azerbaijani lands, every day, turning Azerbaijani children and older people into targets for missiles.

In recent days, Armenia has been shelling cities such as Baku, Ganja, Sumgait, Mingachevir, Barda, Beylagan, Agjabadi, Shamkir, Tovuz, and other major cities of Azerbaijan.
The fire endangers the lives of peaceful Azerbaijanis and various peoples living in these cities - Russians, Jews, Lezgins, Talysh, and Armenians. One of them is Karina Grigoryan, an Armenian by nationality who was seriously injured during the shelling of Ganja.
On the other hand, Azerbaijan conducts anti-terrorist operations only on its territory and wants to liberate its historical lands from occupation.

We appeal to the Armenians living in Karabakh.

Thirty years ago, you were happy in the lands of Azerbaijan, where you are living now. Your material well-being was high, and all your human rights were protected. Because Azerbaijan has always treated us as its own citizens. And now the mafia leadership of Armenia has turned you into a victim of its own game. We are very sorry about that. You also have the right and the opportunity to live like a human being, but Armenia has deprived you of this. Please wake up, it's not too late, and refuse to be a tool in this game. Azerbaijan will protect all your rights, including your safety. We are a clear example of this.

We appeal to Armenian mothers.

Now everyone in the world, and you know very well that Khankandi, Shusha, Khojaly, Aghdara, Lachin, Kalbajar, Agdam, Zangilan, Gubadli, Fuzuli, Jabrail, Khojavand are the historical territories of Azerbaijan.
Do not close your eyes to the death of your children in the lands of Azerbaijan, because you did not bring them into the world to become victims of the game of certain forces.
Some will have wealth and positions, and in return, you will lose your children. Withdraw your children from military service in Azerbaijani lands. Let the lands of Azerbaijan be liberated. Do not participate in this dirty game; otherwise, you will be cursed to destroy the Armenian people in the future.
