Zelenskyy promises "tangible response" to Russian missile attack on Chernihiv

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed confidence that the Ukrainian side will give a "tangible response" to the Russian missile attack on Chernihiv, Report informs.

The Ukrainian leader made the corresponding statement during a video message.

"I'm sure our soldiers will give Russia an answer to this terror attack, a tangible answer," Zelenskyy said.

He added that the leaders and officials of various countries, international organizations condemned Russia's attack on Chernihiv. The president also thanked those who expressed their condolences to Ukraine.

The missile attack on Chernihiv was carried out on August 19. As a result of the attack, at least 7 people were killed and another 140 were injured.
