Zelensky: Russia turns veto right in UN Security Council into right of death

"The Russian Federation has turned its right of veto in the UN Security Council into the right of death," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during his speech at the UN Security Council, Report informs.

"We are dealing with a country that turns the veto right in the UN Security Council into the right of death, which undermines the entire architecture of global security, which allows evil to go unpunished and spread around the world, destroying everything that can only work for peace and security," he said.

According to him, if this continues, then each country can only rely on the force of arms to guarantee its security, and not on international law and institutions.

Earlier Zelensky said that Russian propagandists are trying to justify war crimes in Ukraine through distortion of evidence, deception, and other methods.
