Zelensky discusses further military assistance to Ukraine with Trudeau

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a telephone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and thanked him for his support and financial assistance, Report informs via Interfax.
"I had a phone conversation with Justin Trudeau. I thanked for the support, for 1 billion Canadian dollars of financial assistance and 500 million US dollars of additional defense support," Zelensky said.
PM Trudeau said that he discussed with Zelensky options for supporting Ukraine.
"It's a pleasure to speak with the Ukrainian leader again. We discussed what else Canada and countries around the world can do to support Ukraine," he added.
