Wildfires spread across nine provinces in Türkiye

Forest fires have broken out in nine provinces of Türkiye, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said in a post on X, Report informs.
It was noted that fires are ongoing in Antalya, Çanakkale, and other provinces, with efforts to contain them continuing.
AFAD noted that over 3,000 personnel have been mobilized to fight the blazes. In the affected areas, 23 aircraft, 54 helicopters, and 1,035 ground vehicles are currently in operation.
It was also reported that forest fires have been recorded in Manisa, Bursa, Muğla, Balıkesir, İzmir, Kütahya, and Aydın provinces.
