US delegation to meet Afghan resistance representatives in Turkiye

The US delegation arrived in Turkiye, where it will meet with representatives of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, which opposes the Taliban that have seized power in Kabul, Report informs via TASS.
Sources said that during the talks, the parties will discuss ways to resolve the crisis in Afghanistan. Further information regarding their meeting is not provided.
The Taliban launched a large-scale operation to establish control over Afghanistan after the US decided in the spring of 2021 to withdraw its armed forces from the country. On August 15, the Taliban entered Kabul without a fight, and on September 7, they announced the interim government, the legitimacy of which has not yet been recognized by any country.
