Ukrainian Armed Forces holding large-scale drills

At military training grounds throughout Ukraine, under conditions as close as possible to combat ones, measures are being taken to prepare military units and subunits to perform their assigned tasks, according to the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Report informs referring to UNIAN.

Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev, said that all planned training and exercises should increase the level of education and training of personnel. The servicemen also got the opportunity to work out interaction with units of both the national armed forces and other components of the defense and security forces of Ukraine.

“First of all, the subunits are improving the capabilities of defense, air defense of units, military installations and civilian infrastructure, the actions of anti-amphibious and anti-tank reserves, as well as fire destruction of a conditional enemy,” Nayev noted.
