On November 22, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko and World Bank Operations Manager for Eastern Europe Kevin Tomlinson, signed a loan agreement under the World Bank’s Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance project, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers said.
The agreement envisages a $4.8 billion loan financed by the United States and other development partners.
Ukraine expects to receive funding in the near future. The funds will be allocated for priority social budget expenditures, the Cabinet of Ministers said.
