Turkish VP to attend Khamenei farewell ceremony

Türkiye will be represented by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz at the official farewell ceremony for Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Report informs via Haberl Global.
As part of his visit, Yılmaz will also meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The farewell ceremony will take place on July 4–5 at Imam Khomeini Mosque in Tehran. The funeral procession will then bring Khamenei's body to Qom on July 7, with burial scheduled for July 9 in Mashhad.
Meanwhile, Khamenei was killed on February 28 as a result of strikes carried out on Tehran by the United States and Israel.
