Turkiye and other countries should not refuse dialogue with Russia as part of the normalization of the situation in Ukraine, Turkish President's Advisor Ibrahim Kalin said at the int'l forum in Doha.
"If everyone burns bridges with Russia, then who will ultimately speak to it?" Kalin said, as quoted by western media.
"Ukrainians need to be helped in every possible way so that they can protect themselves ... but the words of the Russians must be heard, one way or another," he said.
On Friday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he could hold new talks with Presidents Putin and Zelensky in the coming days as part of the settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
