"If there had been no trust between me and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the grain deal wouldn't have been restored," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
He said there is mutual respect between him and the Russian President: "Therefore, we got this achievement and continue this process."
Erdogan stressed that Turkiye's mediation continues. He called Russia's decision regarding Kherson a positive step: "If Russia is represented at the G-20 summit, I will have a face-to-face meeting. Otherwise, I will continue the contacts by phone."
