Suspect in Erdogan assassination plot detained in Türkiye

A participant in the assassination attempt against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the failed coup attempt on July 15, 2016, has been detained in the Marmaris district of Mugla province, according to the country's Interior Ministry.
The suspect was reportedly apprehended during an operation.
As noted, the detained person is a member of FETO and had been wanted for 10 years under a Red Notice.
