Russian, Iranian presidents convene in Ashgabat

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, Report informs via Russian media.

This marks their first face-to-face meeting since Pezeshkian’s election.

The talks took place during the international forum “Interconnection of Eras and Civilizations,” which commemorates the 300th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy.
