Russia sees 40,759 new COVID cases

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has recorded 40,759 cases of coronavirus infection, Report informs citing TASS.
Over the past day, 1,237 people have become victims of COVID, while 33,156 patients have recovered.
A total of 8,952,472 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic. Over the entire period, 251,691 people have died and 7,687,317 people have recovered.
