Russia sees 40,735 new COVID cases

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has recorded 40,735 cases of coronavirus infection, Report informs citing TASS.

Over the past day, 1,192 people have become victims of COVID, while 28,605 patients have recovered.

A total of 8,714,595 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic. Over the entire period, 244,447 people have died and 7,505,971 people have recovered.
