Russia sees 40,123 new COVID cases

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has recorded 40,123 cases of coronavirus infection, Report informs citing TASS.
Over the past day, 1,235 people have become victims of COVID, while 33,645 patients have recovered.
A total of 8,992,595 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic. Over the entire period, 252,926 people have died and 7,720,962 people have recovered.
