Russia reports almost 6 thousand new COVID-19 cases

Russia confirmed 5,905 new COVID-19 cases over the past day, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
According to the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus, it is the highest number of infected since July 20.
In the last 24 hours, 134 more fell victim to Russia's virus, bringing the death toll to 19,195.
On December 31, 2019, Chinese authorities announced an outbreak of pneumonia in China's Wuhan, and the causative agent is a new type of coronavirus officially named COVID-19.
On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a new coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.
