Russia has issued an arrest warrant for the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Kyrylo Budanov, according to the Russian interior ministry's database, Report informs, citing TASS.
The entry says Budanov is wanted on unspecified criminal charges.
The Federal Security Service (FSB) said in October 2022 that GUR and its head were responsible for the October 8 attack on the Crimean Bridge. He was charged in absentia on four charges: creating a terrorist group, attempting to carry out a premeditated terror attack by a group of individuals, and illegal purchases of weapons and explosives.
