Russia confirms 1,240 more coronavirus deaths

Russia has reported 36,818 new coronavirus cases over the past day, a minimal figure since October 27, Report informs, citing the country's operational headquarters.

In the relative expression, the growth has made 0.4%.

The country accounts for 9,145,912 coronavirus cases registered since the onset of the pandemic. The COVID-related death toll has risen to 257,837 after 1,240 people succumbed to the deadly pathogen over the past year.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries has reached 7,846,448 since the pandemic onset, after 34,161 people were discharged from hospitals.
