Putin approves proposal to declare non-working days in Russia

The Russian president announced non-working days with the preservation of wages from October 30 to November 7 inclusive.
Report's Russian bureau informs that speaking at a meeting with government members on the situation with COVID-19, Vladimir Putin noted that the heads of the regions have the right to establish non-working days ahead of schedule - without waiting for October 30.
The Russian leader agreed to give the regions the right to establish additional non-working days to combat COVID-19 and urged the heads of the regions to actively increase the pace of coronavirus vaccination.
