Man detained at St. Petersburg airport over fake report of terrorist attack

Police officers detained a 48-year-old resident of the Kemerovo region who provided false information to law enforcement agencies at the Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Transport for the North-West Federal Region said, Report informs.
The man reportedly said his colleague had dangerous items in his handbag.
According to the information, no suspicious items were found as a result of a check.
The suspect was detained for deliberately providing false information about the terrorist attack.
