OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ian Borg held talks with Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili during his visit to Tbilisi, Report informs.
"Thank you (Foreign Affairs Minister of Georgia) Ilia Darchiashvili for welcoming OSCE 2024 Chairpersonship of Malta to Tbilisi this morning, and for affirming OSCE as one of the strongest partners of Georgia in addressing important issues affecting peace and stability in the region. Malta's OSCE Chairpersonship will spare no effort to prevent human suffering, in close cooperation with EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia and other partners, and in support of existing platforms, including GID and IPRM, to address crucial humanitarian issues," Borg said in a post on X.
