Moscow hopes that the next meeting of the 3+3 regional consultative format (Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, plus Russia, Iran and Türkiye) will take place in the near future, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the high-level plenary session of the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
"The participants in this platform have agreed to promote a unifying agenda. We hope that the next meeting in this format will take place in the near future," he said.
Earlier, the Russian foreign minister said that Moscow considered it appropriate to hold the next meeting of foreign ministers in the 3+3 format in Azerbaijan, followed by one in Armenia.
