Baku. 19 December. REPORT.AZ/ Approval on US Patriot sales to Turkey will not affect S-400 supplies, Report informs citing Turkish NTV, which referred to the Kremlin.

“Sale of S-400 anti-missile complex to Turkey will be completed in all cases," Kremlin said in a statement on the issue.

Notably, on December 19, the US Department of State agreed to sell Patriot missile systems to Turkey with a total cost of $ 3.5 billion.

The installation of the S-400 anti-missile defense system in Turkey will start in October 2019.

Turkey had repeatedly appealed to the United States and NATO regarding the air defense system. They temporarily gave Turkey Patriot and a year later they removed the system from the country.
