Kalin: Visit of IAEA delegation to Zaporizhzhia NPP to reduce tension

The visit of the delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant will help reduce tension, a Spokesperson of the Turkish Presidency Ibrahim Kalin said in an interview with CNN.

Kalin said an opportunity for visiting the Zaporizhzhia NPP in Ukraine by IAEA may appear shortly. He expressed belief that the visit will stop tension for some time.

No one, including Russia, wants the nuclear catastrophe, he said, calling on the international delegations to ensure the security of the nuclear power plant.
