Iranian Navy thwarts pirate attack in Red Sea

Iranian Navy thwarted an attack by illegal armed groups in the Red Sea, Report informs via TASS.
The security forces received a request for help from an Iranian vessel that was attacked by pirates. The Iranian Navy arrived at the scene and exchanged fire with the intruders, forcing them to leave the site.
Reportedly, this is the second such clash of Iranian security forces in international waters in the past week.
