Iranian Justice Ministry: Tehran prosecutor demanded severe punishment for Azerbaijani embassy attacker

In the indictment, the Tehran prosecutor asked for the most severe punishment for the attacker of the Azerbaijani embassy, said spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Justice, Masoud Setayeshi, Report informs referring to the Independent Persian.
He noted that the charges have been sent to court.
On the morning of January 27, 2023, a terror attack was committed on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran. A terrorist armed with a Kalashnikov assault rifle broke through the security post, killed the head of the security service and injured two more. After this, employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran were evacuated.
