Iranian, German FMs mull attack of Islamic Republic on Israel’s territory

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has had a telephone conversation with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, during which the parties discussed the attack inflicted by the Islamic Republic on Israeli territory, Report informs referring to TASS.

In the conversation, Abdollahian explained that when carrying out the operation, Iran set as its goal “to warn <...> [Israel] about the consequences of crossing red lines.” Tehran 'conducted a minimal and precise operation directed against Israeli military facilities' from which the attack on the consular department of the Islamic Republic embassy in Damascus was carried out, he noted. The Iranian diplomat also expressed hope that “Germany’s efforts will be aimed at ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip” and establishing security in the Middle East, and “not at condemning Iran’s legitimate actions.”
