Iran registers first case of infection with "omicron" strain

Iran has registered its first case of infection with coronavirus "omicron" strain in Tehran, Head of the Iranian Health Ministry's Center for Infectious Diseases Mohammad Mahdi Gouya said, Report informs via IRIB.
The ministry official noted that along with the first "omicron" case in the country, new sanitary-epidemiological measures were discussed at today's extraordinary meeting.
