Rouhani: Iran countering the second wave of COVID-19

"Iran will pass the second wave of coronavirus," President Hassan Rouhani said at today's government, Report says. He acknowledged that the country was countering the new wave of COVID-19.
According to the President, while the first wave affected the Northern and Central parts, the second wave, which began in mid-may, mostly hit the country's southern regions.
Iran had recorded more than 262 thousand COVID-19 cases, since February 19, when the authorities reported first coronavirus infection. About 13.2 thousand of the reported cases were fatal.
At present, the number of recoveries has exceeded 225 thousand in the country.
