Internet access, as well as mobile and landline communications, have been fully restored in Iran after being restricted during the recent conflict with Israel, Iran’s Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Sattar Hashemi, said.
According to him, the measures were necessary, and the restrictions were a response to Israel’s use of communication networks for military purposes.
Hashemi acknowledged the damage caused by the shutdowns and publicly apologized to the citizens.
