"Turkiye will continue its efforts to stop the war in Ukraine. No easy task," Turkish President's spokesman Ibrahim Kalin told CNN, Report informs.
According to him, neither Russia nor Ukraine is willing to stop this war:
"Therefore, Turkiye wants to be a mediator to achieve peace in the region. Neither side is willing to stop, but they are not in a position to have a decisive military victory either. A longer war and deeper crisis will bring more suffering, loss and destruction for all. Turkiye is ready to mediate peace in Ukraine."
