Humanitarian corridors in Ukraine remain closed for second day

Unfortunately, humanitarian corridors will be closed today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said on Telegram, Report informs.
According to her, the Ukrainian side has held long and difficult talks to open humanitarian corridors from Mariupol, Berdyansk, Tokmak and Energodar. The Deputy PM said that it was also carried out over the settlements of Kherson and Luhansk regions:
"However, the Russian invaders do not refrain from blocking and firing on humanitarian routes in violation of international humanitarian law. Therefore, it was decided not to open humanitarian corridors today for safety reasons. We will make every effort to launch humanitarian corridors as soon as possible."
