Nikol Pashinyan's silence and evasive behavior after the meeting in Brussels has caused concern in the ruling party, the Armenian newspaper Hraparak writes, Report informs.
According to the newspaper, a week after the meeting in Brussels, Pashinyan still did not present the non-public aspects of the meeting or give any assessments, as he usually did after meetings outside Armenia.
“Members of the ruling team were eagerly waiting for the prime minister to enlighten the like-minded since on Wednesday afternoon it was already known that the opposition would not participate in the government meeting in parliament and Pashinyan could instruct the team to quickly end the session and convene a closed one. However, he did not do so, increasing his team's suspicions,” writes the newspaper.
