Ghalibaf: Islamic countries should establish new order

The countries of West Asia and the Islamic world should establish a new order based on their own capabilities, resources, and peoples, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said at a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Numan Kurtulmus, in Baku, Report informs.
Ghalibaf stated that after the 40-day war against Iran, US influence has weakened, and tensions in the Middle East were created by Israel.
Numan Kurtulmus, in turn, noted that the war against Iran lacked international legitimacy: "We stand in solidarity with the Iranian government and people, and Türkiye shares your grief."
The meeting took place during the 20th session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was held in Baku.
